Misdemeanors
A misdemeanor is a criminal charge which is punishable by fine, imprisonment, or both.
Some of the most common misdemeanors are:

If you are charged with a misdemeanor offense, the original party filing the charge against you can drop the charge anytime during the proceedings. In some cases charges will be dropped if restitution is made.
